Exciting News: Shipping Has Finally Begun!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working tirelessly to get everything ready for you. January has been all about finalizing shipping terms and rates with DHL and FedEx. Moving to a new warehouse in Denmark brought some unexpected challenges, and we needed to sort out a few logistics before we could start printing labels and prepping your packages.
We also ran a small test shipment to the U.S. and select EU countries to ensure our fulfillment process was smooth—and it was! Customs clearance and deliveries went off without a hitch. What a relief and a big win for us! 🎉
This week, we’ve prepared all the carbon steel pans and are now packaging them with care and precision. At long last, your orders are almost on their way to you.
Shipping Terms
We want to reassure you that the shipping fee you’ve already paid covers all costs related to delivery—including customs clearance. This is important to us because we want to ensure your experience is as hassle-free as possible.

Hi Qook-members!
We owe you an apology. It has been an incredibly busy and challenging time for our little Scandinavian company here in Denmark. As many of you know, we’ve been running our Danish webshop through the whirlwind of Black Friday and the Christmas season, working tirelessly to keep up with the demand.
At the same time (and yes, we admit the timing could not have been worse), we’ve been focused on finalizing and shipping the Perfect Carbon Steel Pans to our amazing Kickstarter backers.
This has been a deeply frustrating process for us, and we know it’s been equally frustrating for you. First, we faced delays in manufacturing due to rigorous quality control processes. Then, shipping was significantly delayed because of the peak season rush, with Black Friday and Christmas causing logistical challenges worldwide.
We should have anticipated these complications and communicated more clearly with you throughout. For that, we are genuinely sorry. It has been difficult to keep providing updates when external factors continuously push timelines further, and we didn’t want to make more promises we couldn’t keep.
That said, we finally have some good news: we can now share our final shipping update, including when you can expect your product to be shipped and received. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support during this journey. We couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️
Final Shipping Update
The Perfect Carbon Steel Pans will arrive at our warehouse on the 30 of December - This means that we will first be able to pick and pack your products in the first week of January.
Depending on the country you live in I expect that all in Europe should get your products in week 2 and people living outside Europe in week 2 or 3 of January.
Last chance to Update your shipping address
If you haven't noticed we have locked your orders which means that you as a backer cannot change your address anymore.
However, we are still able to change it manually. So this is the final call. Write to us at [email protected] if you want to change your delivery address. The last day for writing to get your address changed will be on the 30 of December.
I will make another update when the Perfect Carbon Steel Pans arrive at our warehouse!

Sorry for the late update - we’ve been all hands on deck getting the carbon steel pans wrapped up in production and shipped from our manufacturer.
But I’ve got great news! 🎉 I can finally confirm that the pans will be shipping out to our amazing backers in mid-December, just in time for Christmas – thank good! 🎄

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. For the first time since we launched Qookware, we made it a priority to take some time off with our families and recharge this summer.
As a result, it’s been a while since our last update, and we apologize for the silence.
But now, we have some exciting news to share with you 👇

🏭 Production Update 📣 Universal Lid News 🚚 Shipping Estimate
Production Update | We're on Track!
This summer, we received exciting news from our manufacturer: we’re right on track with mass production - YAY! 🎉 We’re currently working on designing a beautiful box for each pan to ensure it arrives safely to all our amazing backers.
Some minor design changes
We’ve made two small design adjustments to ensure we deliver the best carbon steel pan as promised! Here’s what’s changed 👇
12 inch (30 cm) pan has been adjusted to an 11 Inch (28cm) pan.
The “new” 11-inch (28 cm) pan now features an increased thickness of 2.5mm.
During mass production, we encountered some challenges with the original 12-inch (30 cm) design. The large cooking surface, combined with the 1.5mm thickness, caused slight warping when exposed to high heat, resulting in a minor lift at the bottom of the pan.
To guarantee the best possible cooking experience, we decided to slightly reduce the size and increase the thickness of the pan. Rest assured, our design still offers one of the largest cooking surface ratios on the market, so you won’t lose any valuable cooking space!
The pans stack perfectly together and here you see the thickness difference between the 10 inch and 11 inch pans.
No adjustment has been made to the 10 inch (25cm) pan.
Universal Lid News | Still some issues..
We’ve tested numerous universal lid designs, but we’ve encountered several issues with both design and functionality. It’s been frustrating, especially since we promised a lid that fits perfectly with our pans.
However, we finally have a design we’re happy with that fits the pans well! We’re now focused on improving the knob/handle, and we’re optimistic that our backers will be able to purchase the lid soon.

Shipping Estimates | Possible delay
As I mentioned earlier, mass production is progressing as planned. However, overseas shipping might take a bit longer than we initially expected when we planned the Kickstarter. This could result in shipments from our warehouse in Denmark being delayed until December.
That said, we’re still hopeful we can begin shipping in November as promised. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

Quality and fitting problems with the Universal Lid
Unfortunately, we encountered some quality problems and fitting problems with the Universal Lid, which we are doing our best to fix!
