How do I upgrade my reward?
You can upgrade your reward from inside the Backerkit survey in the second question.
How do I buy your other cooking products at the unique discounts?
In the add-on section, you will be able to add all of our other cooking products so you cart before paying for them in the last step of the BackerKir survey.
FAQ's❓❗
When should I reply to the survey?
ASAP!⏰ The sooner you fill in the survey, the sooner we will know how many items and add-ons we will ship, and where to. The information will help us quickly organize the production process.
How do I pay for the upgrades and additional add-on products?
You will pay directly in BackerKit either by Credit Card or through Paypal.
When will you charge our credit cards for upgrades, add-ons, and shipping costs?
Credit cards will be charged at the end of June. So you can safely upgrade to your pledge and add-ons, you will pay later.
I want to change my shipping address. Can I do that?
Sure you can. You can make changes to the shipping address at any time before we close the surveys. Once locked, you'll not be able to make any changes. We will lock your address close to the shipping date which is sometime in November.

14 days have passed since our Kickstarter campaign ended. We've been busy preparing BackerKit Surveys, opening our preorder store, and staying on track with production.

We've been working hard to prepare all the surveys for our Backers! We'll send them out in 7 days, next Thursday, June 13th, so be ready. We'll also give a heads-up on that day.
Why is the BackerKit Survey so Important?
This survey is crucial because we don't have our Backers' shipping addresses yet. The main purpose of the survey you'll receive is to confirm your address and pay for the shipping.

Last year, we crowdfunded this knife series on Indiegogo, raising €119,582 from 540 backers. Now, for a limited time, we’re offering these knives at an exclusive 40% discount in our Pre-Order Store.
We are on track with the production of the "Perfect Carbon Steel Pan." Our manufacturer is currently preparing the molds for mass production, which we expect to begin in about 10-15 days if all goes smoothly.

Payment - What now?
Kickstarter will now process your payment, which may take 10 to 14 days. As Kickstarter manages all payment processing, we don't have control over this timeline. Please be patient, and feel free to reach out if you need any assistance!
FAQ: What happens if my payment fails?
Kickstarter will send you instructions and attempt to process your pledge using the credit card you provided. We understand some of you may have encountered issues, so Kickstarter will try again in the coming days. Often, the issue is related to 'two-factor authorization,' so please pay close attention to your bank's messages. Additionally, problems can arise if your card has expired or if the payment has been flagged as fraudulent, which happens quite frequently. Here's how you fix it:
Ensure that you are logged into your Kickstarter account.
If you're experiencing issues with the first card, try using a different one.
Contact your bank to resolve any card-related issues (sometimes, you simply need to authorize the payment).
Follow the steps Kickstarter advises, and they will recharge your card in a few days. If the problem persists, email [email protected]. If that doesn't work, message us at [email protected] and we will help resolve the issue.
Pledge Manager/Backerkit
In the coming weeks, we will email you a link to our Pledge Manager along with instructions on how to use it. Don't worry...it's easy! We will use Backerkit as PLedge Manager which is one of the most renown Pledge Manager Systems out there!
The whole point with our Pledge Manager is:
Enter and confirm your shipping address.
Upgrade your pledge with more Carbon Steel Pans or other cool cooking products we offer (We will have some exclusive one-time offers).
Pay the remaining balance (Shipping costs + any chosen upgrades).

Did you miss the Kickstarter deadline, have reconsidered, or simply want to help us grow?
We have opened our campaign for Late Pledges which is a totally new concept from Kickstarter. This means:
New backers can now pledge to our campaign for "The Perfect Carbon Steel Pan".
New backers will have the option to pledge for a single Carbon Steel Pan or the bundle.
Please note, that the discount will not be as big as it was during the initial campaign.
Production Status and Timeline
Now that the campaign has ended and we got so many backers we will begin the production steps. This means that we will:
Start the production of the Carbon Steel Pan molds for mass production.
Start the mass production of the Carbon Steel Pans.
Ship the Carbon Steel Pans to our warehouse in Denmark.
Ship the Carbon Steel Pans from our warehouse in Denmark to our Backers!
We will, of course, keep you informed about each of these steps as we progress. We remain confident that we will stay on schedule!

We just reached our 55K Stretch Goal! - AMAZING! - This means that all our backers will be able to purchase the Universal Lid in our Pledge Manager AFTER the campaign has ended.
